Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - A number of new features could be coming to Brown’s Island as part of a $30 million project.
According to plans by Venture Richmond, the project could include riverfront terraces and balconies, better seating, permanent bathrooms, water fountains, accessible paths, spaces for children, and more.
The City of Richmond has pledged 10 million dollars toward the project. The goal is to get all the funding by 2026. Once it starts, construction could take nine to 12 months.
