
Richmond, Va. (NewsradioWRVA.com) - Richmond Police say they've made an arrest in the death of 17 year old boy that occurred on October 19th on North 23rd Street. That was the case of the body that was found in a trash can.
Police say a 17 year old has been charged with first degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Richmond police detectives made the arrest along with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Richmond Police spokesman James Mercante says that Acting Police Chief Rick Edwards indicated that detectives worked tirelessly on the investigation since the incident happened. The boy was arrested without incident on Tuesday.
