Henrico, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Richmond-Henrico Health District is resuming vaccinations at Richmond Raceway Tuesday, after a several month pause. The clinics at the Raceway will run Monday through Saturday, 10am to 7:30pm, and will cover both boosters and initial vaccinations.

Health District Spokeswoman Cat Long says they are prepared for 250 shots a day, although they can increase up to 1000 a day. She says there will be some screening to make sure people getting booster shots are, in fact, eligible for the Pfizer booster.

Long says they plan to have Raceway open through the next rounds of boosters with the other vaccines, as well as the opening of the vaccine to five through 11-year olds.
