Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - In a video statement, acting Richmond Police Chief Rick Edwards says they do not believe there were any guns inside Altria Theater during Huguenot High School's graduation. Two people were killed outside the graduation June 6th, and three others were wounded.

The video was provided in lieu of a press conference, which was originally planned to provide more information on the investigation. Edwards, also in the video, continued to say that they do not believe gangs were involved in the incident.

Shawn Jackson, who had graduated moments earlier, and Renzo Smith, his step-father, were killed in the shooting. Police arrested Amari Pollard and charged him with second-degree murder. Police say Pollard and Jackson had an ongoing disagreement.
