Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - To help with Thanksgiving travel, Sheetz is lowering the prices at some of its pumps.
On Tuesday, the gas station and convenience store chain slashed the price of its Unleaded 88 by 40 cents per gallon. The deal lasts until the end of November and is available at 505 Sheetz locations that sell that type of gas.
Unleaded 88 is an EPA-approved fuel that can be used in most vehicles manufactured after 2001. It offers several benefits, including cleaner-burning, reduced toxins, and improved engine performance.
Sheetz encourages customers to check its mobile app or website to see which locations carry Unleaded 88.
AAA says gas prices are currently averaging around $3 per gallon. Approximately 79.9 million people in the United States will travel at least 50 miles next week, according to AAA’s annual travel report.
