Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Gunshots were reportedly fired at a Trump campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania. Former President Trump was escorted off stage by security staff with blood on his face.
A Secret Service spokesperson said on X that "the former President is safe" and an investigation is underway. One member of the audience was reportedly killed and the alleged shooter is dead.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the former president added that Trump thanked “law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act."
