Hopewell, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Six juveniles have been arrested in connection to a series of alleged motor vehicle thefts and acts of vandalism in Hopewell.
They face a total of 32 felonies and 33 misdemeanors related to a series of crimes between last July and this June, including over 25 motor vehicle thefts. Those charges include grand and petty larceny, vandalism, possession of a firearm as a juvenile, possession of a stolen firearm and trespassing.
According to police, these arrests resulted from several search warrants issued during the investigation. Items such as identification cards, debit and credit cards, burglary tools and three stolen guns were found during the investigation.
Police say these arrests may not be the only ones made during this ongoing investigation.
