Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The forecasted snow totals continue to drop for Richmond. NBC12 Meteorologist Sophia Armata now says the metro area should receive a dusting to maybe two inches from tonight's storm. Eastern Henrico is in a one to four inch zone but Armata says even there, she expects numbers on the lower end.
Armata says the heaviest snow will fall in eastern Virginia and along the Chesapeake Bay. There are blizzard warnings for the Eastern Shore. The storm could drop a foot of snow or more further up the East Coast.
Armata says the snow will start tonight after a period of rain, and then leave the area by 10 Saturday morning.
