Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney is asking Richmonders not to gather and party for Saint Patrick's Day. Stoney, noting there is no "Shamrock the Block" event this year, suggests people "Shamrock their Living Room" instead.
Stoney says Richmond is still in a pandemic and gathering in groups will contribute to spread. He says this request is to people both who have been vaccinated, and are still waiting for shots.
Saint Patrick's Day is Wednesday.
