Glen Allen, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - UPDATE: Henrico Police now say the teen suspect involved in this incident has died. They are not releasing his name due to his age. Three officers are on administrative leave while the incident is investigated.
ORIGINAL: Henrico Police say a suspect has life-threatening injuries after officers shot him in Innsbrook. Police say officers shot the suspect after he fired a weapon at them. The initial call was for a "disorderly situation."
Police also say they have a woman in custody in connection to this incident. The situation initially began, according to officers, as after someone had their personal items taken by an armed person. There was then a foot pursuit by officers along Cox and Old Sadler Roads.
The incident happened around 4:45pm Sunday.
