Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) -- Senator Tim Kaine discussed his thoughts Monday on Russia's use of cluster munitions in Ukraine, as well as his reservations about the us sending Ukraine those same weapons.
He said that the Biden Administration held intensive meetings with the Ukrainian Government, and that -- where Russia is using these weapons on civilians -- Ukraine has promised that they will only use these weapons on Russian military positions within Ukraine.
Kaine said he still has reservations on enabling the use of sanctioned weapons, but appreciates that the Biden administration has considered his objections.
