Chesterfield, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Chesterfield Firefighters say two children were killed in an early morning fire on Flynn Road, not far from Chippenham Parkway The fire broke out around 4am, and also injured two adults and a third child.
Lieutenant Kenny Mitchell says finding a cause may take some time. The fire caused enough damage that they had to do structure work to be able to examine the second floor of the home.
This is the second multiple fatal fire in Chesterfield this year, and the second to also claim the lives of children. Four kids were among six people killed in a fire at a home near the intersection of Hull Street and Courthouse Road in April.
