Sandston, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Henrico Police say they recovered two guns at Highland Springs High School Tuesday. Two teenage boys were taken into custody in separate incidents. Both are being held in the Juvenile Detention Home.
In the first cases, Police say School Resource officers detained a boy and recovered a gun. Petitions are being sought for: Possession of concealed weapon, possession of firearm on school property, manufacture, importation, sale, possession, transfer, or transportation of trigger activators, possession of firearm under 18, and possession of marijuana on school property.
In the second case, another male juvenile was taken into custody and Henrico Police SROs recovered a second gun. Police are seeking the following petitions: possession of a firearm on school grounds, possession of a firearm by a minor, possession of a concealed weapon.
