Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - VCU Police are investigating a robbery that took place in a parking deck near the university’s Monroe Park campus early Sunday morning.
In an alert shared with the public, VCU police said they received reports of the robbery on Sunday, Dec. 8, just before 3 a.m. Police said three victims were reportedly approached by two males inside a parking deck near the Coliseum Lofts, located at 1359 West Broad Street.
Both suspects displayed firearms and demanded the victims’ belongings. The suspects are described as two black males in their 20s, wearing dark clothing. They are believed to have fled the area in a dark-colored vehicle traveling east on West Broad Street.
