Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - A new poll from Virginia Commonwealth University finds a majority of Virginia parents likely to get their kids a Covid vaccine shot. Sixty-six percent of parents of teens, and 63% of parents of younger kids, are likely to vaccinate their kids, according to the VCU poll.

There are differences, however, geographically. Parents in the urban/suburban eastern portion of Virginia are more likely than parents in the western portion of the state. In fact, parents of teens in western Virginia, according to the poll, were not likely at all to get their teens the vaccine (84%).

The poll was done in April and had a margin or error of just over four percentage points.
