Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - A new poll from VCU finds 71% of Virginians support the school mask mandate. The Northam Administration required masks in schools in August. The poll was done in early September, right as a number of kids were returning to school.
The poll found much stronger support for school masks among Democrats (94%) than Republicans (43%). Independents also showed strong support (80%). Minority Virginians backed masks more than whites.
The poll had a margin or error of just over five percent.
