Richmond, Va. (NewsradioWRVA.com) - Richmond Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle which may have been used in connection with a homicide of a juvenile this month.

Detectives are searching for a Toyota Avalon, greenish-blue in color, believed to be a late 90’s to early-2000’s model year. The vehicle has a sunroof and after-market chrome wheels. A photo of the vehicle is attached.

At approximately 4:40 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, officers were called to the 1400 block of Jennie Scher Road for the report of a person down. Officers arrived and found a 17-year old juvenile male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
