Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - An investigation is underway by Virginia State Police after a road rage incident Wednesday night on Interstate 295 near the Route 1 exit.
Around 7 p.m. on March 6, state troopers were called to the Brook Road exit on I-295 North to investigate a highway shooting.
The vehicles were traveling Northbound when four shots were fired, with one striking a window in the other car. There were no reported injuries.
“Just before the vehicles reached Exit 43 on I-295, the sedan fired approximately four shots at the Nissan, striking it one time in the passenger side window and exiting through the front windshield,” a police spokesperson said.
