Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Senator Mark Warner (D), who chairs the Senate Intelligence Committee and the Cybersecurity Caucus, says he is especially concerned about the possibility of a massive cyberattack on Ukraine. Warner warns such an attack would likely not be limited to just Ukraine, and could have the possibility of drawing NATO further into the conflict.

Warner says a cyberattack on Ukraine could impact Poland, their neighbor and a NATO member. He says NATO will have to determine how much impact on Poland will require a NATO response. Warner also warns that if the U.S. responds to Russia with sanctions, we too could become a target.

Warner is currently on his way to Germany to attended what used to be an annual security conference, where Ukraine is expected to be a major topic.
