Washington, D.C. (Newsradiowrva.com) - Following the release of the heavily redacted affidavit on the search of former President Donald Trump's Mar-A-Lago estate, Senator Mark Warner (D-Va.) says he wants a damage assessment on the alleged documents at the site. Warner says the request is from the Senate Intelligence Committee, which he chairs, and is bi-partisan.

Warner says based on the affidavit, it appears some of the country's most sensitive intelligence were among the documents at Mar-A-Lago. Warner's statement says there were 25 Top Secret documents, as well as documents indicating they had information on clandestine human sources.

Warner says the Department of Justice must be allowed to proceed without interference.
