Henrico County, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - A water main break at an intersection near the Short Pump Interstate 64 interchange has closed at least one travel lane and could lead to additional lane closures.
Henrico Police say the water main break occurred at the intersection of West Broad Street and Old Sadler Road. One lane of westbound West Broad Street is closed from Old Sadler Road to Interstate 64. Two travel lanes remain open.
Police are advising the public to consider using an alternative travel route, such as Three Chopt Road, while crews complete repairs.
“Please use caution and be patient as Henrico Public Utilities are working around the clock to complete these repairs,” Henrico Police said in a statement.
