Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The strong winds accompanying the Arctic cold front are creating power issues in Virginia. Dominion Energy says they are seeing outages throughout their Virginia service territory. You can see the latest numbers here.
Spokesman Craig Carper says they are working as quickly as possible to restore power. Because it is sunny out Friday afternoon, work is possible even as wind takes out additional service.
Carper is asking people to report their outages so that Dominion crews have a better picture of what they are dealing with.
