Richmond, Va. (Newsradiowrva.com) - The Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association's dashboard shows Virginia has hit another peak in terms of people in the hospital with confirmed Covid cases. The number is currently 3,681, which breaks Friday's weekday peak of 3,329.
The VHHA has long encouraged vaccination as a way out of the pandemic. The association says if hospitalizations continue on this pace, the health care system may become strained.
The VHHA has asked people to save emergency rooms at this time for true crises as they are under stress.
