Richmond, Va. (Newradiowrva.com) - Richmond Police have arrested the man they say is responsible for vandalizing several official RPD vehicles in late August. The vandalism occurred in Richmond Police's own parking garage over the nights of August 28 and 31. Several police vehicles were spray-painted with profane graffiti, and Richmond Police say that the extent of the damage is still being assessed.

Early this morning, Richmond detectives arrested Jeremy Morris, 33, and charged him with felony vandalism, two counts of misdemeanor vandalism, and misdemeanor trespassing. A spokesperson at Richmond Police declined to comment on how detectives determined the identity of the vandal.
