Mega beauty brand KKW will soon be off the market, but not for long.
On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian and creator of the beauty, makeup, and fragrance brand announced that is she is temporarily shutting down the brand to give the company a new “elevated” look.
"To Our Loyal Customers, It all started with a contour kit and expanded to eyes, lips, body, and many incredible collections over the past four years," she wrote to her loyal Kardashian following.
“On August 1st at midnight we will be shutting down the http://KKWBeauty.com site so that we can come back to you under a completely new brand with new formulas that are more modern, innovative, and packaged in an elevated and sustainable new look."
The entrepreneur and mom-of-four, 40, did not give details on how long the site will be unavailable for business, but promises it won’t be for long.
"I’m excited to continue to develop and expand my product range and for you to finally be able to experience it the way that I have always envisioned," she continued. "In addition, my team is hard at work to improve the customer shopping experience where you will be able to purchase my beauty and cosmetic offerings in all categories from one single website."

She concluded her statement saying, “Thank you so much for being on this incredible journey with me, and I promise we won’t be gone for too long. xo, Kim Kardashian West.”
Fans on Twitter were quick to note that the brand overhaul may include dropping the “W” from the company name since the Kardashian's recent divorce from ex-husband Kanye West. Kardashian herself did not comment on a potential change in the company name.
Kim Kardashian recently made headlines after announcing that her clothing company, Skims, will be featured as the official loungewear for Team USA at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
The reality TV star and entrepreneur took to Twitter saying, “I am honored to announce that @SKIMS is designing the official team USA undergarments, pajamas and lounge wear for the athletes this year in Tokyo and the same pieces will be available in a capsule collection at SKIMS.COM.”
