A video of Sabrina Carpenter is making everyone melt
Leave it to fans to find old footage of Sabrina Carpenter as a kid singing a Taylor Swift song. After Sabrina joined Taylor on stage, X user Millie posted the clip, from August 2009, featuring a 10-year-old Sabrina singing a rendition of Taylor's "Picture to Burn." Millie captioned it "one day you're covering a taylor swift song, fast forward to 15 years later and she's covering your song," along with a clip of Taylor and Sabrina singing one of Sabrina's songs together at Taylor's recent concert.
Speaking of Taylor Swift, she made a sizable donation to the Second Harvest Food Bank in New Orleans following her performance there. Officials did not disclose the amount, but they said it's enough to cover 75,000 meals. The charity said, "The kind generosity reminds us that making a difference is possible, together, with people who truly care."
Olivia Rodrigo recently took a bit of a tumble while she was performing, as I told you, but it was worse than she let on at the time. It turns out that, after falling through the stage, she had to go to the hospital after all. Thankfully, she was cleared and pointed out, "the show must go on, that's showbiz baby!"
Adele told her fans at a recent Vegas show despite that she's battling an ear infection, which she described as "worse than childbirth." Adele explained that the infection, caused by a rare water bacteria, left her partially deaf in one ear, but she assured fans, "There was no way I was missing the f-ing show." Now mostly recovered, Adele is pushing through her last few performances before a planned hiatus.
Hours before the news about Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz breaking up, it was announced they were starring in a new film together, "Alpha Gang." Fans are confused over the breakup since Channing's last social media post with Zoe has Channing fawning over her. Also, a body language expert has argued there were "red flags" that could be seen with their last appearance together on the red carpet, suggesting Channing knew the breakup was coming and maybe Zoe was the one caught off-guard.
A benefit for those affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton was recorded over the weekend and included appearances and performances by Brittney Spencer, Chris Janson, Clay Aiken, Jonathan McReynolds and Tyler Hubbard, as well as the Backstreet Boys, Billy Bob Thornton, Billy Burke, Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Cedric The Entertainer, Cody Alan, Jackson Dean, JB Smoove, Kelsea Ballerini, Max Thieriot, Nate Burleson, Stephen Colbert, Taye Diggs, Zac Brown Band and more. The special will air this Saturday at 8 PM on CBS and CMT and stream on Paramount+ with Showtime.
Meanwhile, Luke Combs, Eric Church, Billy Strings, and James Taylor headlined for at a similar effort, Concert for Carolina. Luke posted some pics and wrote, "This will undoubtedly go down as the night I am most proud of in my career." While Luke has a lot more career to go, any time you can raise over $24 million in one night for people desperately in need, it has to be a Top 5 night, at the very least.
