It’s the 4th of May, which has long been recognized as Star Wars Day, but here in the Bay Area, San Francisco just made it official.
The Board of Supervisors today formally recognized today as Star Wars Day in the city, acknowledging the city’s ties to Lucasfilm, which created the films and the world that surrounds them.
Some of that world is on display tonight at San Francisco’s newly remodeled Castro Theatre.
