Looking at communities that already have large data centers, Marion County Commissioner Carl Zalak brings case studies, what is working and what is not, to a public workshop as the County and Florida address growth in computing. The County has not yet received a data center application. The September 1 workshop will answer questions, address misinformation, state laws, possible regulations and other communities’ bans or moratoriums.
