It’s been ten years since Philando Divall Castile was shot and killed by a police officer during a traffic stop in Falcon Heights, MN. Tomorrow will be the annual Central Honors Philando event. Adrian Perryman joins us to talk about the event, the origins in honoring Philando and his contributions to our community and how Adrian found himself connected to Philando. Sheletta asks what guests can expect when they arrive at the event which includes free music, kid activities and many people/community organizations that you can connect with. They also discuss the Philando Castile Memorial Scholarship that’s awarded annually to a St. Paul Central High School senior.
