Deputy Chief Kurt Hallstrom oversees Public Safety Technology with the Saint Paul Police Department. He joins the Sheletta Show today to talk about their recent rescue of a young child who had wandered away from home and into a pond with the use of a police drone. Deputy Chief Hallstrom shares the sequence of events that led to the boy’s rescue and how integral drone technology was to their success. He also lauds the good samaritan that called 911 to alert the authorities to the situation.
