Louisiana’s medical and nursing schools are increasingly turning to advanced simulation technology to train the next generation of healthcare workers amid ongoing staffing shortages. Schools including LSU Health, Tulane, Delgado, and Ochsner are using lifelike, high-tech mannequins that can breathe, talk, blink, and simulate medical emergencies, giving students realistic hands-on experience before they treat real patients.
