During the Y98 pregame show, Dale Schilly caught up with CITY Head Coach, Yoann Damet, ahead of the team’s home match, the last of 3 in an 8-day stretch, this time hosting top Western Conference team, the Houston Dynamo. Coach Damet reflected on the midweek 1-1 draw with rival Sporting KC and shared his thoughts on players managing fatigue, decision-making, execution, and consistency. He also talked a bit about the evolution of more man-marking in The Beautiful Game, and how to play against it. As the team prepped for a tough match, Damet expressed his belief in the glass half full, ready for the challenge in front of the St. Louis home fans at Energizer Park.
