During the Y98 halftime show, Jen Siess visited in-booth with CITY President and General Manager, Diego Gigliani. Diego talked about how CITY is celebrating their most recent win against the Colorado Rapids to send the club through to the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup final in October - a first in club history, as they try to honor the legacy of the 10 St. Louis teams who have won the championship before. Diego also discussed how, despite STL’s loss of beloved players like Marcel Hartel and Eduard Löwen, the club is pleased with the moves made in the MLS secondary transfer window to strengthen and deepen the squad now and in the future. Finally, with CITY trading an international roster spot for $200k in GAM, Diego promised more future moves to keep CITY a winning club.
