Early voting started Thursday in many suburbs but has been paused in DuPage County.
DuPage Clerk Jean Kaczmarek’s office says a technical issue led them to halt early voting after the first hour.
Chicago voters will have to wait until October 1st to early vote and those in suburban Cook cannot until October 7th.
