In November 2020, the DuPage County State’s Attorney says Rosa Lagrone suspected her boyfriend Darnell Manns was dating another woman, so she shot Manns in their Naperville home.
Lagrone then did a Facebook live video chat with the alleged other woman while Manns was seen on the floor in a pool of blood.
Manns died a few days later.
In February 2026, a jury found Lagrone guilty of First Degree Murder, and on August 5th, a judge sentenced Lagrone to 38 years in prison.
