The state of Indiana has passed a bill that would offer the Bears up to $1 Billion in incentives to relocate their stadium project, and the Bears recently said their "sole focus" for a new stadium involves two sites in Hammond.
After spending time with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Wednesday, Governor J.B. Pritzker's office issued a statement saying the governor was {quote}: "glad to participate in a productive meeting focused on keeping the Bears in Illinois and protecting taxpayers".
The Bears still own the land at the former Arlington Racetrack in Arlington Heights which they purchased with plans of building a stadium there.
