President Trump has signed a bipartisan legislation to fund much of the Department of Homeland Security, but not its immigration enforcement operations. DHS has been without routine funds since February 14th, and the deal ends the longest agency shutdown in history. Now, lawmakers will draft the actual $70 billion ICE and Border Patrol funding bill. Also, the war with Iran has hit the 60-day mark, which is the legal limit for the War Powers Act. Burbank Congresswoman Laura Friedman talks about it with L.A.'s Morning News.
