The Senate has advanced an Iran war powers resolution after Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy, who lost his primary over the weekend, joined Democrats. The House is expected to vote on its own version today. Also, Senate Republicans seem to have a big problem with the Justice Department's new “Anti-Weaponization Fund.” The $1.8 billion will compensate people who were wronged by the federal government.
