Swatting in Southern California continues to be a major problem. Yesterday it was Beverly Hills, on Sunday it was the Redondo Beach Pier delaying the start of day three of the BeachLife Festival, last week it was a middle school, and back in March it was The Shops at Santa Anita, which apparently targeted influencers who were live-streaming from the mall. Dr. Lauren Shapiro, associate professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and author of Cyberpredators and Their Prey, talks about it with L.A.'s Morning News.
