This is KCBS's Ask an Expert segment. Today, San Francisco is moving ahead with plans to acquire its electrical grid from PG&E. Last Thursday, the city's planning commission unanimously approved an Environmental Impact Report needed for the takeover. But PG&E says that the grid is not for sale and tried to deter the city by saying that a takeover would raise prices.
