Spirit Airlines could receive a $500 million bailout from the government

The financial troubles of Spirit Airlines, which filed for bankruptcy in both 2024 and 2025, recently drew the attention of President Donald Trump. The air carrier and the Trump Administration are in discussion of a possible $500 million dollar deal.
