An enormous expansion is in the works at the home of three national historic landmarks in Delaware County.
Brandywine Conservancy and Museum of Art plans to build a 40,000-square-foot gallery and add 10 miles of trails to its campus in Chadds Ford.
Construction is expected to begin next year, with an eye on opening the new museum building in 2029.
The original art studios used by Andrew Wyeth and his father, N.C., are part of Brandywine's 325 acres.
