Bucks County woman arrested and charged for failing to care for cancerous horse

A Springfield Township Bucks County woman has been arrested and charged for failing to provide veterinary care for an 11-year-old horse with cancer. Officials say Heather Fitzgerald of Coopersburg, was taken into custody and held on $150,000 bail. The Bucks County SPCA says the Thoroughbred named Brazilliant had a cancerous eye that was not treated and the cancer had spread to the bones in his face, down his spine, and into other parts of the body.
