A woman and four children are in the hospital after being hit by a car in Northeast Philadelphia Friday night.
Philadelphia Police say the group was hit by a burgundy Chrysler 300 on Marple Street just off Torresdale Avenue in Holmesburg around 6 p.m.
Officials say all the victims sustained minor injuries and were taken to different hospitals for treatment. The child victims are a 6-year-old girl, a 5-year-old girl, a 3-year-old girl, and a 4-year-old boy.
One person is in custody in connection with the crash. The burgundy Chrysler has also been recovered.
The identity of the driver is unknown at this time and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
