Someone dumped dozens of tires off the back of a U-Haul in Fairmount Park, then abandoned the truck when it got stuck in the mud.
It happened Monday near Centennial Arboretum. The tires are piled in a huge mound near a wooded area.
Crews from Parks and Rec will begin cleaning up the tires Tuesday morning.
Police are looking for whoever put them there. Illegal dumping can cost you hefty fines — up to $5,000 per item. If you witness illegal dumping, call 311.
