Man found shot in head along bike path in Atlantic County

Investigators from the Mullica Township Police Department and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office got to the scene around 6 a.m. on Thursday. There, a dead man was found along a bike path that connected Aleta Road in one residential development to Locust Street in another in Mullica. The latter is a block and a half from Mullica Township Elementary School. Authorities say the man was shot once in the head. They ruled it a homicide and have not released any other identifying details about the man. There are no suspects at this time.
