Man found shot to death in vacant North Philly lot, police say

Detectives are investigating a shooting death in the city’s Fairhill neighborhood. Police say a 27-year-old man was discovered just before 2 a.m. Friday in a vacant lot along North Fairhill Street, shot several times throughout the body. The lot was about a block away from the Save A Lot on Allegheny Avenue. The man was taken to the hospital, where he died a short time later. Authorities say there were several bullet shell casings found in the area, and now investigators are searching for video in hopes of identifying a suspect. (Photo credit: NBC10)
