Philadelphia launches new alleyway cleanup initiative

Is the alley behind your house full of litter? Alley-gators will help you clean it up. It's the new initiative from the Philadelphia Office of Clean and Green Initiatives. Alleys are not part of the city's street sweeping program because they're a homeowner's responsibility. But starting this summer, homeowners can request the city's help.
