There will be a procession Monday night for a Berks County police officer who was killed in the line of duty.
Officer Kristen Yeager was killed in a violent car crash Friday night near Manatawny and Shoemaker roads in Earl Township.
Yeager was married and the mother of three children.
There was a community prayer service on Sunday at the Central Berks Regional Police Department. Chief Justin Johnson told NBC10 that seeing the community come together has helped the department through a very difficult time.
Yeager's body will be transported Monday night from Reading Hospital to Lutz Funeral Home. The police department is asking neighbors along the route to put out blue lights or wear blue in Yeager's memory.
