Temple University will use one of its largest-ever donations to open an honors college.
It's named for two alums: Jane and the late Thomas Sullivan. Temple wouldn't reveal the dollar amount of her gift.
University President John Fry told the Philadelphia Business Journal that it “levels the playing field” as Temple competes with other large schools in the region.
The Sullivan Honors College is expected to welcome its first students next fall.
